Investors Trust, incorporated in 1977 and is the Asset Manager and Real Estate Investment Advisor to NNN Realty Fund, Retail Realty Fund, Golf Realty Fund, Residential Realty Fund, O Hill Capital, Bear Brand Ranch Company,  Investors Realty Fund, Investors Private Equity and Investors Philanthropic.  Investors Trust is headquartered at One Upper Newport Plaza in Newport Beach, California.

Robert O Hill is the Chairman of the Board of Investors Trust, Executive Director of O Hill Capital. O Hill Capital is an investment and real estate development company; projects include Peppertree Bend in San Juan Capistrano and Bear Brand Ranch, which is a 1,550 acre master-planned community in Laguna Niguel and Monarch Beach, California. O Hill Capital develops and acquires portfolio investment properties, O Hill Capital is the lead investors in Golf Realty Fund, Retail Realty Fund, Residential Realty Fund and NNN Realty Fund which are all managed by Investors Trust.

Robert O Hill is a third-generation Orange Countian who attended Newport Harbor High School, the University of Southern California and the University of California Irvine, and served in the United States Coast Guard Reserve. Prior to starting his own real estate companies he spent several years involved in real estate investment banking with Dean Witter, now known as Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.

Robert O Hill is a member of The Reserve, Newport Beach Country Club, SeaCliff Country Club, The Pacific Club, Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers. He served for four consecutive years as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bear Brand Ranch Community Association, and was appointed by Supervisor Thomas F. Riley to serve as a member of the Major Landowner Committee for Orange County Transportation. Mr. O Hill is a member of the Circle of Leadership and Center Benefactors for the Segerstrom Center of Performing Arts Center, member of the Board of Trustees for the Orange County Art Museum, and is a past member of the Orange County Board of Directors for United Way, in addition to other charitable interests.

Extra FYI: ROH is an avid sportsman who loves golf, tennis, snow skiing and virtually all water sports.

Thomas K. Downes serves at the Chief Executive Director for Investors Trust.  In that capacity he is responsible for the day to day management of the firm’s existing real estate investments, sourcing new acquisitions and asset management.  Mr. Downes began his career in Finance with investment bank Morgan Stanley and has over 12 years’ experience in institutional finance working with hedge funds, mutual funds and investment advisors.  Since leaving Wall Street, Thomas has been actively involved in real estate private equity working with Sponsors and Developers in acquiring new assets and capitalizing new projects.  Mr. Downes holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and a Bachelors in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.  Thomas has been an active member of ICSC, the ULI and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of California.

Alain O’Connor is the Chief Financial Director of Investors Trust, a member of the Board of Directors and a 10% shareholder /partner. Alain is responsible for acquisitions, due diligence, financing, budgeting, reporting, and lender and investor relations. Alain O’Connor grew up in Hawaii, and attended the University of California, Santa Barbara. He received his degree in Business Economics with an Emphasis in Accounting.

After college Alain worked for the “big four” accounting firm, KPMG, as an Audit Senior Associate, and among other duties participated in audits of companies in the hospitality, real estate and financial services industries, including Balboa Bay Club and Newport Beach Country Club. Following his time with KPMG, Alain became the Fund Manager for LBA Realty’s largest private REIT with over $1 Billion in real estate assets and 4 joint ventures. He was responsible for the fund’s accounting, reporting and cash management and was the accounting lead for acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and loan closings, including validating settlement statements, providing funding, and booking transactions. He was also responsible for preparing REIT compliance testing and ensuring compliance with partnership agreements.

Extra FYI: Alain is fluent in Spanish and his hobbies include surfing, sailing, snowboarding and soccer.

Steve Abraham is the Operating Director of Investors Trust and member of the Board of Directors and a 20% shareholder/partner in Investors Trust.

Taos Poole is the Accounting Manager of Investors Trust and a 5% shareholder/partner in Investors Trust.

Valentina Khan is the Managing Director of Investors Philanthropic and a 10% shareholder/partner in Investors Trust. Valentina was born on Valentine’s Day & raised in Orange County, California. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California Bachelor of Arts, received her Juris Doctorate at Howard Taft Law School & continued her education with a Masters of Arts degree with an emphasis in Philanthropy and Community Leadership from Claremont. Valentina is the Host for the Joy of Giving series, which highlights various business leaders & nonprofits. She is passionate about bringing the joy of giving to millions, through Investors Philanthropic which is a 501 (c)(3) Donor Advised Fund which creates opportunities for Donors to fulfill their philanthropic missions. 

As part of Investors Philanthropic, Valentina brings her love of community & efforts to build impactful relationships from one generation to the next.
